Laura joined Deansgrange Dental Clinic in June 2025 and quickly became a valued member of the team, supporting both chairside as a trainee dental nurse and front of house when needed. Her enthusiasm and willingness to learn make her an integral part of the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.

Having always had a fascination with teeth and dentistry, Laura’s interest began at a young age, she recalls being curious about orthodontic treatments and even feeling jealous when her siblings got braces! That early interest has grown into a genuine passion for dental care and helping patients feel confident about their smiles.

Laura plans to begin her formal studies in Dental Nursing at Trinity College Dublin next year. In the meantime, she is gaining invaluable hands-on experience at the clinic and loves the challenge of anticipating each step in a procedure and learning to react quickly and efficiently. She has a particular interest in orthodontics and finds it fascinating to see the transformation patients experience throughout their treatment.

Laura enjoys being part of a highly coordinated, supportive team that works seamlessly together, something she describes as “a big, well-tuned machine.” Her approach to patient care is gentle and reassuring, helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.

Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with her family and her three dogs, who always keep her busy and entertained. A fun fact about Laura is that she is double-jointed, a trait that never fails to surprise people!
