She graduated with honours in Dental Hygiene from University College Cork and previously earned a Certificate in Dental Nursing from Trinity College Dublin. Rebecca further advanced her expertise with a Specialist Certificate in Health Promotion (Oral Health) from the National University of Ireland Galway.

In 2018, Rebecca was recognised with the prestigious Kin Hygienist of the Year award, reflecting her dedication to excellence and her exceptional patient care. She is also a passionate advocate for inclusive dental care and, in 2025, was invited to guest speak at the Irish Dental Hygienist Association (IDHA) Conference on “Overcoming Challenges: Treating the Autistic Patient”, sharing her expertise in providing tailored care for neurodiverse patients, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Rebecca takes pride in creating a calm, positive, and reassuring experience in the dental chair. She enjoys helping nervous patients feel at ease with her friendly, chatty manner and finds great reward in making dental visits a positive experience for every individual. Committed to staying at the forefront of her profession, Rebecca regularly engages in professional development to ensure her patients receive the most current and effective care available.

Rebecca brings a blend of expertise, empathy, and enthusiasm to her role, ensuring every patient feels supported, comfortable, and well-cared for. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, going on adventures with her two daughters, and fitting in short mountain runs whenever she can. She is happiest near the sea, even taking invigorating dips in December, which reflects her energetic and adventurous spirit.
